PROJECT SUMMARY
Editorial
Identity
Cinema Scope reimagines a quarterly publication through typography and color, treating “scope” as both lens and perspective. Expanding letterforms suggest a widening view of cinema, while the “o” frames supplemental content and serif type introduces a more editorial, sophisticated voice. Each issue uses a distinct palette and dense back-cover type to create a consistent framework that highlights the breadth of voices and ideas.
Spreads are treated cinematically, with type and images flowing like storyboards to create rhythm and keep long-form critiques engaging. The identity extends into merchandise, including apparel, totes, and posters, using a restrained, typographic approach that mirrors the publication and reinforces a cohesive, collectible brand experience.
